Buckeye Hills is midway between Chillicothe and Wilmington on the northwest side of Greenfield off Rt 28.

It's a rural layout over southern Ohio's rolling hills and challenging with numerous risk/reward opportunities. The layout is parkland style with stands of trees along the fairways and a couple of ponds and a stream but only a few sand traps defending the mid-sized, oval greens. It was designed by Xenophon Hassenplug and from the tips is 6,393 yards, 71.2/125 course and slope ratings with two shorter tees.
