Buffalo Creek is located on the east side of Lake Ray Hubbard south of Rockwall in Heath off I-30 at exit 67.

The layout provides broad fairways with stands of mature hardwoods at the margins as winds through a residential development. There's several water features in play and a generous amount of sand traps both along the fairways and defending the large, contoured and slightly undulating greens. It was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish in the early 1990s and plays to 7,078 yards, 73.7/127, course/slope ratings from the tips with 3 shorter tee boxes.
