The Calamus Golf Course is a 9 hole layout in the Nebraska Sandhills in the Calamus River Valley 6 miles northwest of Burwell and 1 mile south of the Calamus Reservoir.

The golf course is a parkland layout skirting over level terrain and along broad fairways lined by young trees with tall prairie grasses at the borders, two ponds in play, and more doglegs than a kennel. For 18 holes it will play to 5,690 yards with a par of 70, 63.4/102, course/slope ratings.
