The Ranch is on the south side of Green Valley within an upscale residential development.

The layout has a series of unique, isolated holes journeying along a scenic setting with views of Elephant Head throughout. The golf course is a target layout with numerous forced carries and desert terrain at the fairways' borders along with a generous amount of conventional sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the greens. From the tips the course can play to 6,701 yards, the Azul tees are 6,127 yards, 67.7/134, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, a Schmidt-Curley design.
