Canyon West is off I-20 to the south at exit 402 in Weatherford.

The golf course features rolling fairways with limestone rock outcroppings and formations, eight lakes, an array of sand traps, and elevated tees as it meanders through a sparsely populated residential development. You'll find wild west scenes with tee-pees, wagons, skeletons with arrows, old lanterns, etc.) that decorate most of the fairways. There are some quirky holes with blind shots, a par three island green, and a dogleg left then right on the same hole. There's also a par 3 of 162 yards to a figure eight green with a heart shaped sand trap in the middle.
