The Capital City Country Club is on the southeast side of downtown Tallahassee off Monroe St.

The layout is over hilly contours along pine tree and large moss-draped, oak tree lined fairways with a couple of water hazards in play and sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. The golf course has some history as it was originally a 9 holer designed by Fred Elliot in the early 1900s, A. W. Tillinghast redesigned the original 9 holes and added another nine in 1935 with R. Albert Anderson revising much of the original Tillinghast design later. There's four sets of tees from 5,259 yards to 6,502 yards, the white tees play to 6,240 yards, 69.6/125, course/slope ratings.
