Castle Hills is on the north side of New Castle just east of Youngstown off I-376.

The golf course is a traditional layout sauntering over rolling, tree lined fairways with water hazards on a six holes and a moderate amount of sand bunkers defending the occasional fairway and most of the small, perched greens. The course was designed by James Wacker in the late 1930s and plays to 6,317 yards from the tips, 71.4/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees.
