Cattails at MeadowView is south of Kingsport off I-25 at Meadowview Parkway at the base of Bays Mountain.

The golf course has parkland and links elements as it meanders along broad, mounded fairways with stands of hardwood trees at the borders. There's multiple water hazards including streams, lakes, and wetlands in play in addition to a generous amount of sand traps along the landing zones and greenside. There's five sets of tees overall from 4,452 yards to 6,704 yards at the tips, the White tees are 6,215 yards, 69.5/129 course and slope ratings, a Denis Griffiths design.
