It's in the San Luis Valley traversing along isolated, cottonwood tree lined fairways over mostly level land with numerous wetlands and natural areas at the borders and sand bunkers mostly around the greens. The golf course was designed by Richard Phelps and plays to 6,517 yards from the tips, par 71, 71.1/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
