The Challis Golf Course is a 9-hole layout on the west side of Challis, just south of Garden Creek.

It's a rudimentary layout where the setting and views far outweigh the quality of the golf course. It's located in Round Valley, a couple of miles west of the Salmon River, with the Lost River Mountain Range as a backdrop. It features a couple of doglegs along broad fairways leading to generous greens over level terrain. It can play to 3,184 yards, 34.6/117 course/slope ratings off the back tees with one shorter tee box.
