Champions Pointe is 20 miles north of Louisville off I-65 to the west in Henryville carved through the undulating terrain of southern Indiana.

The golf course is a parkland layout along rolling, broad fairways with stands of old growth, hardwood trees at the borders over unique and isolated, fairways. There's multiple lakes, ponds, Sticky Branch Creek, and sand bunkers adding to the obstacles to par along with undulating greens of varying shapes and sizes. From the middle, gray tees it's 5,931 yards, 68.6/123, course/slope ratings, a Fuzzy Zoeller/Clyde Johnston-design.
