Champions Pointe is 20 miles north of Louisville, off I-65 to the west in Henryville, carved through the undulating terrain of southern Indiana.

The golf course is a parkland layout along rolling, broad fairways with stands of old-growth hardwood trees at the borders over unique, isolated fairways. Multiple lakes, ponds, Sticky Branch Creek, and sand bunkers add to the obstacles to par, along with undulating greens of varying shapes and sizes. From the middle gray tees, it's 5,931 yards, 68.6/123, course/slope ratings, and a Fuzzy Zoeller/Clyde Johnston design.
