Chatuge Shores Golf Course is on the west side of Chatuge Lake, a few miles south of Hayesville on NC 69, about 30 minutes northeast of Blairsville.

The golf course has a traditional layout that weaves through narrow, tree-lined fairways along numerous dog legs in a picturesque setting on the west side of the lake surrounded by mountains. There are a few holes with water hazards in play and sand bunkering, mostly around the greens. The front nine is more interesting as it traverses over hilly fairways while the backside moves over more level terrain. The tees range from 4,801 yards to 6,498 yards, and the White tees are 6,147 yards, 69.4/122, course/slope ratings.
