Cheraw State Park Golf Course is 38 miles north of Florence along the north shore of Lake Juniper.

The layout is carved through the pine forest along unique and isolated fairways with several water hazards in play and sand bunkers scattered about the fairway landing zones and greens. It was designed by Tom Jackson and plays to 6,928 yards, 73.4/130, course/slope ratings from the championship tees with three shorter tees.
