The Cherry Hill CC is in the small, former coal mining and lumber boom town of Richwood, which is located 28 miles east of Summersville and known as the Gateway to the Monongahela National Forest.

This 9-hole layout is a few miles north of Richwood in a valley setting surrounded by a deep forest. It's very straightforward along fairways defined by rows of trees leading to modest, oval greens with a scattering of sand bunkers. Off the back tees, it can play to 33.8/110, course/slope ratings with one shorter tee, and alternative tees for the back nine.
