Whitney Farms is north of Bridgeport off Route 8 at Shelton 6 miles to the west on Shelton Road.

The layout wanders through the deep. woods with homes visible only along a few borders. It features a mix of narrow and broad fairway corridors, multiple water features, 25 sand bunkers, slight doglegs, and modest green complexes. There are five sets of tees from 5,276 yards to 6,534 yards, 71.5/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Hal Purdy.
