The Clinton Country Club is on the west side of Lock Haven off US 220 at Mill Hill to the north.

The layout lumbers through a parkland setting over level terrain between Bald Eagle and Fishing Creeks. It's straightforward with numerous doglegs, narrow and broad tree lined fairways, a moderate amount of sand bunkers both along the fairways and greenside, and the mid-sized greens providing confounding undulations. There's three sets of tees from 5,386 yards to 6,781 yards from the tips, the middle tees play to 6,484 yards, 70.3/126, course/slope ratings. The original nine holes here were designed by Alex Findlay in 1920 with the second nine by Ed Ault in 1976.
