Continental is on the east side of Flagstaff off I-40 at the foot of the San Francisco Peaks within an established housing development.

The golf course is a short and hilly, parkland layout along sloping, pine tree lined fairways with numerous ponds and streams in play. It features multiple elevated tees and greens providing views of the Ponderosa National Forest, the San Francisco Peaks, and Mount Elden in the background. It's somewhat short at only 6,014 yards from the back tees, 67.5/118, course/slope ratings with one shorter tees, originally designed by Bob Baldock.
