The Coos Golf Club is south of Coos Bay on the east side of the Pacific Coast Byway carved through a clearing in the deep forest.
The golf course is a parkland layout with a mix of holes defined by trees while others are more wide open and bordered by natural areas, wetlands, or streams. The course plays to 6,402 yards from the tips, 71.8/138, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, a classic front side designed by H. Chandler Egan in the early 1900s and the back nine by Bill Robinson in the late 1980s.
