Cottonwood Country Club is in Glendive in the Eastern Montana badlands near the Makoshika State Park just off I-94 at exit 215 on the east shore of Crisafulli Lake.

The golf course is a nine hole, parkland layout through cottonwood lined, hilly fairways with a stream snaking its way through the golf course and sand bunkers guarding the small, oval greens. From the tips it can play to 3,124 yards, 34.5/111, course/slope ratings, designed by Leo Johnson in the early 1960s.
