Silver Springs Shores is southeast of Ocala, off Maricamp Road.

The layout is partially through a residential development but with most holes carved through the woods. The front side is more of a parkland-style layout along tree-lined fairways, while the back side moves along broad fairways, weaving through wetlands and ponds with a generous amount of sand bunkers in play. It's a challenging layout at 6,935 yards from the tips, 74.1/130 course, and slope ratings with five shorter tees, designed by Desmond Muirhead.
