The CC of Canton is 30 Miles north of Jackson off I-55 on the east side of Canton surrounded by woodlands and fields.

The layout encircles a 22 acre lake and saunters over level terrain along fairways defined by stands of oak and pine trees. There's a combination of narrow and broad fairway corridors leading to modest greens with a sparing use of sand traps. It's 6,322 yards from the tips, 69.8/119, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Robbie Webb.
