The CC of Canton is 30 Miles north of Jackson off I-55 on the east side of Canton, surrounded by woodlands and fields.

The layout encircles a 22-acre lake and flows over level terrain along fairways defined by stands of oak and pine trees. It combines narrow and broad fairway corridors leading to modest greens with sparing use of sand traps. Designed by Robbie Webb, it's 6,322 yards from the tips, has 69.8/119 course/slope ratings, and has three shorter tees.
