Coyote is northwest of Detroit off I-96 in New Hudson in a natural area without homes or development.

The golf course ambles over flat grassland and woodland terrain dotted with ponds and wetlands with a mix of open and narrow, tree lined fairways, a few of which requiring carries over hazards. From the tips it plays to 7,194 yards, 74.4/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Scott Thacker in 1996.
