Coyote Springs is about an hour north of the Strip on I-15 off the US 93 exit, 30 miles to the north, in a quiet, remote setting with views for miles.

The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and features the usual Nicklaus design elements with water hazards on 12 holes and a prodigious amount of sand bunkers along the fairway landing zones and defending the generous, contoured, and elevated greens with moderate undulation. There are five sets of tees with the tips playing to 7,471 yards, 75.8/141, and course/slope ratings.
