Crooked Tree G.C. is just off the I-10 at the Cotaro Farms exit to the east.

The golf course is an affordable, desert style layout without homes or development that once hosted the PGA's Tucson Open, but now relegated to second tier status with the new, upscale golf resorts in town. The layout features straightforward, generous fairways with desert terrain, ironwoods, mesquites and saguaros of the Sonoran Desert at the borders. It's well bunkered along the fairways and defending the greens with three lakes impacting play on numerous holes. It can play to 7,065 yards from the tips, 72.2/132, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Lee Trevino and Dave Bennett in 1977.
