Cross Creek is in southwestern Nebraska near McCook south of Gothenburg off I-80 in Cambridge.

The layout is a mix of parkland and links design elements trekking over a large tract of land with some change in elevation in a scenic setting with Medicine Creek traversing the golf course. From the back tees it can play to 7,205 yards with 74.3/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Martin Johnson.
