Cross Creek is in southwestern Nebraska near McCook, south of Gothenburg, off I-80 in Cambridge.

The layout, designed by Martin Johnson, combines parkland and links elements. It runs over a large tract of land with some elevation change in a scenic setting, with Medicine Creek traversing the golf course. From the back tees, it can play to 7,205 yards with 74.3/120 course/slope ratings and three shorter tees.
