Crossgates Golf Club is on the southwest side of Lancaster just south of the Millersville University of PA campus bordered by the Conestoga River and partially through a residential community.

The layout provides for broad, tree lined fairways over rolling hills with a liberal use of sand bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the greens with numerous water hazards in play. It's features a few blind shots in addition to an assortment of holes along the River with several interesting doglegs. It's somewhat short at 6,131 yards from the tips, 69.9/122, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Ferdinand Garbin.
