Darby Creek is just northwest of Columbus, southwest of Marysville off Rt 38, surrounded by farmland and forests.

The layout is a tale of two nines with the Links and the Woods, respectively, open on the front side and tree-lined over rolling hills on the back. There are numerous water features in the form of ponds and a stream with well-bunkered fairways and greens. It was designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva in the early 1990s and plays to 7,074 yards, 73.9/129, course/slope ratings at the tips with four shorter tees.
