Dauphin Highlands is located just off I-283 south of Harrisburg north of the Pa Turnpike on high ground east of the Susquehanna River.

The layout moves over rolling terrain along broad fairways defined by stands of old growth, hardwood trees in a scenic setting without development along the holes. The fairways are bordered by tall fescue grasses along numerous slight doglegs with pot and conventional, sand traps both along the fairways and greens in addition to multiple water features.
