Del Rio is 15 miles north of the I-8/El Centro exit in Brawley on the north side of town tucked in between farmland below the Salton Sea.

The course is a traditional layout bordering the New River over level terrain surrounded by farmland. The fairways are lined with trees, there's several water hazards, and the small, raised greens are well protected by sand bunkers. It's short at 6,101 yards from the tips, 68.3/116, course/slope ratings with design work by Billy Bell.
