Delcastle is on the west side of Wilmington off Kirkwood Highway at McKennans Church Road between a residential development and forests.

The course is a traditional layout along tree lined and rolling fairways with significant change in elevation on numerous holes on the front. It's generally straightforward save for a variety of doglegs with several water hazards in play and sand traps positioned primarily around the greens. The course was designed in the 1970s by Ed Ault and from the back tees plays to 6,625 yards 70.8/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
