Devil's Thumb is in a spectacular setting just outside Delta 70 miles south of Grand Junction in the Adobe Hills.

The layout moves along rocky terrain and the desert bordered by natural waste areas and conventional sand bunkers over unreal elevation changes providing stunning vistas. It's a spectacular setting along the Grand Mesa and the Uncompahgre Plateau at the the confluence of the Uncompahgre and the Gunnison Rivers in the the Black Canyon. In the distance the Raggeds and West Elk Mountains are to the east and the San Juan Mountains to the south. There's five sets of tees with the tips playing to 7,176 yards, 72.9/132, course/slope ratings, the more manageable blue tees are 6,190 yards, 68.2/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Richard Phelps.
