Diamond Ridge and the Woodlands are municipal golf course which share the same clubhouse and practice range located on the west side of town off I-695 at Security.
Diamond Ridge is a parkland style layout along broad, tree lined fairways on the front contrasting a narrow, challenging backside. There's several water hazards, a generous amount of sand traps, and numerous slight doglegs. It's 6,613 yards from the tips, 71.5/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Ed Ault.
The Woodlands is aptly named as it moves over rolling terrain along narrow corridors of mature hardwood trees with ample separation between the holes. There's multiple water hazards in play along with well bunkered fairways and greens. It was designed by Lindsay Ervin in the late 1990s, and from the White tees plays to 6,122 yards, 69.9/126, course/slope ratings with two longer and shorter tee boxes.
