Dogwood is 10 miles southwest of Marietta in Austell in northwest Atlanta tucked away between Austell Highway and Powder Springs Road.

The golf course is a compact, parkland layout with broad and narrow, old growth tree lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain. There's several streams traversing multiple holes and two ponds with sand bunkers positioned greenside and along the occasional fairway landing zone. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,501 yards, 71.2/126, course/slope ratings.
