Dos Rios is halfway between Salida and Montrose on the west side of Gunnison off US 50.

The layout is over flat river bottom land in the Gunnison River Basin along tree lined fairways with the River splitting the course. It's a delicate drill in course management as there's water in play on 17 of the holes with a stellar finishing hole across the Gunnison River on approach to the green. It plays to 6,512 yards from the tips and 5,991 yards from the White tees, 67.2/119, course/slope ratings, the initial 9 holes by John Cochran with Dick Phelps adding the additional nine.
