Eagle Creek is on a strip of land between Willmar and Swan Lakes just off US 71.

The golf course is a parkland layout partially through a residential development. The fairways are lined by old growth, hardwood trees and generally narrow with Eagle Creek and numerous streams and ponds in play in addition to sand bunkers defending most of the greens. It's a challenging layout at 6,420 yards from the tips, 70.8/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Howard Swan and Ron Garl.
