Eagle Creek is on a strip of land between Willmar and Swan Lakes just off US 71.

The golf course is a parkland layout partially through a residential development. The fairways are lined by old-growth hardwood trees and generally narrow with Eagle Creek and numerous streams and ponds in play, in addition to sand bunkers defending most of the greens. It's a challenging layout at 6,420 yards from the tips, 70.8/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Howard Swan and Ron Garl.
