Eagle Creek Golf Course is west of Mattoon and southeast of Decatur in the Eagle Creek State Park at Lake Shelbyville.

The golf course roams over a natural setting on a peninsula with several holes along the Lake. The layout was carved through the forests on rolling land along narrow, tree lined fairways with slight and dramatic doglegs, several water hazards, and sand bunkers mostly greenside. It plays to 6,924 yards, 73.5/132, course/slope ratings from the tips with three other tee boxes, designed by Ken Killian and enhanced by Mike Benkusky in 2010.
