Eagle Creek Golf Course is west of Mattoon and southeast of Decatur in the Eagle Creek State Park at Lake Shelbyville.

The golf course roams over a natural setting on a peninsula with several holes along the Lake. The layout was carved through the forests on rolling land along narrow, tree-lined fairways with slight and dramatic doglegs, several water hazards, and sand bunkers, mostly greenside. It plays to 6,924 yards, 73.5/132, course/slope ratings from the tips with three other tee boxes, designed by Ken Killian and enhanced by Mike Benkusky in 2010.
