Eagle Crest Resort is on the west side of Redmond, off the McKenzie Highway to the south, on a 1,700-acre tract of land in Central Oregon's high desert. It features two 18-hole championship layouts, the Ridge Course and the Resort Course, an 18-hole par 63 Challenge Course, and an 18-hole Putting Course, all through a juniper forest in the foothills of the Cascades.

Both championship layouts are mountain-style layouts traversing hilly and rolling tree-lined fairways. They're moderately well bunkered with minimal water hazards and fast, undulating greens. The Resort course plays to 6,704 yards from the tips, 71.6/132 course/slope ratings, and was designed by Bunny Mason. The Ridge course is newer, longer, and more of a challenge at 6,952 yards from the tips, 73.4/137 with four shorter tees, designed by John Thronson.
