Eagle Pointe is on the east side of Houston in Mont Belvieu at exit 800 off the East Freeway about 45 minutes east of downtown.

The course has more elevation change than you normally see in the Houston area with the fairways lined with tall pine trees without homes or development in play. There's Cherry Point Gully, Old River, and multiple ponds in play in addition to sand bunkers defending many of the greens and the occasional fairway. It was designed by Rick Forester and is a par of 71 at 6,502 yards from the blue tees, 70.9/121, course/slope ratings, with one longer and two shorter tees.
