Eagle Pointe is in Bloomington on the south side of town within a residential development and bordering a couple of fingers of Lake Monroe.

The golf course winds through the community along tree-lined fairways over rolling hills. Several water hazards are in play, and each green is surrounded by clusters of sand traps. It plays to 6,678 yards, 72.4/131 course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes. Robert Simmons designed it in 1973.
