Eagle Pointe is in Bloomington on the south side of town within a residential development and bordering a couple of fingers of Lake Monroe.

The golf course winds through the community along tree lined fairways over rolling hills with several water hazards in play and each green surrounded by clusters of sand traps. It plays to 6,678 yards, 72.4/131, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Robert Simmons in 1973.
