The Eagles Mere CC is on the west side of small village of Eagles Mere(pop 120) carved through the deep woods in a natural setting 35 miles northeast of Williamsport in the Endless Mountains. The course is open to outside play when lodging at the Eagles Mere Inn.

The layout is most straightforward marching along hilly and sloping contours defined by old growth, hardwoods. Most of the modest greens are defended by sand bunkers with the treacherous surfaces influenced by the sloping terrain. It can play to 6,177 yards, par of 70, 69.8/123, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed in part by William Flynn.
