Edelweiss Chalet CC is 30 miles southwest of Madison on the east side of the small farming community of New Glarus surrounded by fields and forests.

The layout borders the Little Sugar River to the south as it marches along broad fairways outlined by trees over rolling topography. The River and several ponds are in play on multiple holes, but a multitude of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens are the course's main defense. From the tips it's 6,642 yards, 70.6/118, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Art Johnson.
