The Elizabethton municipal golf course is between Johnson City and Elizabethton on Elk Avenue a few miles east of I-26.

The compact layout provides for a variety of long and short holes along tree lined fairways over rolling hills creating an assortment of odd lies with elevated greens and tees. The greens are the course's main defense as they're on the small side, quick and undulating and tend to be uphill from the fairways. It's an older course from the 1930s with redesign work by D.J. DeVictor, and is relatively short at 6,339 yards from the back tees, 71.5/128, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
