The Elk City Country Club is two miles south of I-40 at the Elk City exit, 150 miles east of Amarillo and 115 miles west of Oklahoma City.

The golf course is a traditional layout with scattered trees defining the fairways bordered by Bermuda rough leading to modest, slightly undulating greens. There's water in the form of several ponds and Elk Creek in play on a number of holes and minimal sand sand bunkers mostly defending the greens. It plays to 6,179 yards from the tips with a par of 71, 68.9/106, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Don Sechrest.
