Fairbury is southwest of Beatrice on the south side of Fairbury along the west bank of the Little Blue River.

It's a confounding nine-holer with numerous blind shots off the tee as it moves along hilly, sloping, tree-lined fairways. There are a couple of ponds but only one forced carry and several sand bunkers guarding the modest, oval, or kidney-shaped greens.
