Fairbury is southwest of Beatrice on the south side of Fairbury along the west bank of the Little Blue River.

It's a confounding, nine holer with numerous blind shots off the tee as it moves along hilly and sloping, tree lined fairways. There's a couple of ponds but only one forced carry and several sand bunkers guarding the modest, oval or kidney shaped greens. From the tips for 18 holes it plays to 6,250 yards, 70.6/121, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
