Fall River Valley is east of Redding and north of the the Lassen National Forest in Fall River Mills.

It's a somewhat hilly layout trekking over a large tract of land with pine and juniper trees lining the fairways, numerous water hazards in play, and sand along the landing areas and guarding the greens. The course can play from 5,400 yards to 7,402 yards, 74.7/134, course/slope ratings from the back tees, and was designed by Clark Glasson in 1978.
