Far Vu is south of Oshkosh on the west side of Lake Winnebago off US 41 at County Road N/Fisk.

The golf course is a traditional layout with trees lining the fairways in a natural setting without homes or development bordering the holes. It's straightforward along numerous parallel fairways with multiple ponds and wetlands and sand traps around half of the small, postage stamp-sized greens. It's short at 5,820 yards from the tips, 69.2/114, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Norman Pfeiffer.
