Fort Dodge Country Club is 1 1/2 hours northwest of Des Moines and about 30 minutes west off I-35 at US 20 on the west side of Fort Dodge.

The golf course is a classic layout from the 1920s flowing over level terrain along tree lined fairways with several water features, a modest amount of sand traps, and small to mid-sized greens. The tips are 6,573 yards with a 122 slope, the blue tees are 6,213 yards, 69.1/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Bill Hird.
