The Fort Hays Golf Course is about 100 miles west of Salina just off I-70 at the Fort Hays exit.

The golf course marches on either side of old Fort Hayes, and is a basic, municipal layout winding along tree lined fairways over flat land. There's a lake and a stream impacting play on several holes but a sparing use of sand bunkers mostly defending the modest greens.
