The golf course is part of the Okemo Valley Resort near Ludlow in the Black River Valley of the Green Mountains.

The layout is a heathland design traversing level meadows and over hilly terrain with tall fescue grasses defining the fairways and stands of trees at the borders. The fairways are filled with dips, ripples, rolls and hollows with several water hazards in play and a generous amount and variety of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It can play to 6,400 yards from the back tees, a par of 70, 71.1/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Steve Durkee.
