Franklin Bridge is south of Nashville in Franklin off I-65 at the Franklin/Murfreesboro Road exit then south on Royal Oaks. The golf course is partially through a residential community with half the holes bordered by homes while the balance are along natural corridors.

The course meanders along the Harpeth River through generous, tree lined corridors over relatively level terrain. Water is the dominant feature here with the River or ponds in play on 15 holes overall including an island green. It was designed by Gary Roger Baird and plays to 6,968 yards from the tips, par 72, 73.7/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
